If you’ve traveled anywhere in North America and Europe, or have spent any time listening to country music that is outside of the radio charts, you will have heard the name Caleb Klauder. Caleb represents the best of the Northwest music scene and his music has inspired many people across the globe. Caleb has been touring nationally and internationally for over 20 years. He first toured with acclaimed folk-rock band Calobo, a luminary in the Northwest’s burgeoning 90’s music scene. He has been leading his own band, the Caleb Klauder Band, since 2000, a venue for his original and timeless songs. And he is a founding member of the widely celebrated Foghorn Stringband, with whom he tours regularly. Caleb’s music is far reaching and influential.
Notable performances have been given at festivals such as Tønder Festival in Denmark, the Black Pot Festival in Louisiana, Pickathon in Portland Or., The Calgary Folk Festival, Old Tones Roots Music Festival in NY., Ossipee Festival in MN, The Chicago Roots Music Festival, The Savannah Music Festival in GA.
Caleb has penned over 50 songs many of which are standards across America in honky tonk and bluegrass jams and festivals, both on and off stage. There is a long list of bands and singers who have recorded Caleb’s songs over the years.
Caleb’s collaborations include working with Dirk Powell and Riley Baugus both live and in the studio. Caleb has produced two albums made in Portland Oregon. He also joined forces with Jesse Lége and Joel Savoy to form the Cajun Country Revival, a honky tonk cajun country band.
