Volunteer Opportunities

Red Wing Academy offers the following volunteer positions in exchange for a weekend pass to Red Wing Roots Music Festival or discounted Academy tuition. We look to partner with individuals who have a particular interest in nurturing a love of music and providing opportunity for youth who come from all backgrounds. Our volunteers play a big part in making Red Wing Academy a rewarding experience for all involved!
Volunteer Teacher
Volunteer Teachers are part-time staff members at Red Wing Academy, leading an elective and mini lesson at camp. In addition, Volunteer Teachers participate in camp kickoff and regroup, assist with administrative tasks, help with supervisory duties during lunch, and may lead instrument specific sectionals. Experience required. 15 hours in exchange for a weekend pass to Red Wing Roots Music Festival + RWA tuition for 1 camper.
Volunteer Support Staff
Volunteer Support Staff members assist the camp coordination team with camper care and supervision. 12 hours in exchange for a weekend pass to Red Wing Roots Music Festival OR discounted RWA tuition for 1 camper.
